[Honest Inquiry Message Board]
Here is a brief explanation of some of the questions you may have about the use of the message boards.
Guidelines for the Recovery from Mormonism board
This is not a debate board for Mormons to defend the faith. There are many other locations on the Net for that activity.
Posts, which are nothing more than "testimonies" or berating the ex-Mormons who post here, will be deleted as we have time. Please note, as we delete these posts, subsequent posts, which are part of the thread also get deleted. It is easier for us who maintain the board to delete a whole thread than individual posts. If you post a follow-up to a TBM diatribe, your message will likely be lost as the thread gets deleted. Posts, which are just schemes for making money, will be deleted. They are spammers, who also wrecking havoc on other boards.
I am not aware of pornography being posted here. If it were to happen, it will get deleted if we find it and we have time.
That is pretty much it for guidelines. :-) Try to keep flames to a minimum and try to stay on the topic of Recovery from Mormonism. If you wish to swear, please put it in the message and not in the title. You may wish to warn of the content if you feel it is appropriate.

Can I put html tags anywhere in my posts?
No. You can not use HTML tags in any field except body of the message. For more information on using HTML click here.
The archives are on another site which you can click to from here. The bb is far too active to archive all posts.
Why are there colons in the message when I try to post a followup?
Colons appear in the message dialog box when you try to followup up on a message to indicate that those lines are quoting the previous document.
Your post most likely did not show up, because your browser did not reload the page, it simply pulled it out of cache. Please reload your browser and it should then appear.
What does IPU, TBM, n/t, etc. mean?
