God does the saving. God chooses whom He will regardless of circumstance. Look at the different responses to Paul's Gospel in Acts chapter 17. All heard the same message. All had similar (Athenian) backgrounds. Some were saved. I didn't choose God. God chose me. That is fundamental.

Jesus name in hebrew mean; Yah saves.
This Jesus you have crucified, Elohim has resurected him.
So, it is true that Elohim (God) saves, but only in the sense that presently no human beings can give eternal life to another one.
Cloning may be a hint in the good direction.
The problem is that Blue thinks there is only one way to salvation, His.
I always need to ask, saved from what.
The Bible says, "from dust you came, to dust you will return" Scheol, hades, hell, only mean
6 feet under the earth. In the valley of Ghehinnon the fire was always lit, but the garbage was destroyed after a short period.
"Fear not the one who can destroy the body,
but the body and the soul" If your genetic code, "soul" is destroyed, you cannot be resurected.
As for the "Gift" of eternal life, Faith without deeds is nothing.
Someday you will be asked to sign a paper declaring; I refuse to be recreated through Cloning, because God will save me. And I will
say, Good luck!
