And that's what I would like to avoid, cop-outs. If another portion of scripture explains a passage, then we can no longer say interpretation is subjective. Like when Jesus interprets his own parables, we don't have the right to disagree with his interpretation. When there is no explanation anywhere else in scripture, then, yes, that portion becomes subjective to interpretation. But it takes a lot of study to get to that point. And serious study seems beyond today's attention spans. (I'm not implying your attention span, you've already proven the opposite to be true on this BB).
I'm striving to come to consensus here, not to be annoying.
