Be that as it may...i forgive you ;).
I use the word dependent because if i were to sit
down with you to read the bible to arrive at the
"consensus" you desire we would have to face the
unavoidable reality of inequality. In this case
you obviously have much more biblical knowledge
than i do. For us to sit down and read together
would mean that this inequality would have to be
addressed during the studying process. Your
superior knowledge and experience would mean that
i would be DEPENDENT in some form on your
interpretations and readings. Perhaps after a long
period of study (hypothetically speaking) the
inequality could be decreased. Inevitably, however,
this process will leave two people who disagree
at some level about what is being studied...
