The recent commotion here in Utah over polygamy has got me wondering what should the limits on freedom be. I tend to side with the Libertarians most of the time but I find myself a little confused over the polygamy situation. Should polygamy be prohibited by the government among "consenting adults"? Is the best solution, to a tricky issue like polygamy, to make it illegal and then not enforce the law. Should unenforcable laws stand? I think this is a philosophical question, or at least an ethical one.
