: I could care less in what DeeJay Nelson & "Dr." Martin claimed.
: The fact still remains that a) "Joseph Smith's Egyptian Alphabet and Grammar" is from the Book of Breathings, b) the Book of Breathings is next to Facisimile 1 which is where the Book of Abraham begins, c) none of the papyrus was from 2,000 BC, d) the Book of Abraham translation shows evidence that someone was learning Hebrew--not Egyptian--when they translated it, and e) the facimiles we certainly do have were incorrectly restored and translated.
But all of these things ARE what DeeJay Nelson claimed, and the other false doctor used his findings to teach in his lessons!
: Now where is your evidence that the "Book of Breathings wasn't the origin for the Book of Abraham"?
Joseph Smith described the appearance of the original papyri as having red rubric marks and being much larger than that which was discovered in New York. As I said, Dr. Nibley and Mr. Shirts would be more than happy to reveal the truth of it to you, as they have studied this more extensively than either of us or Dr. Nelson.
