What I am hearing is more of the same crap about trying
to justify Joseph Smith's misrepresentation of his translational
abilities. I've read all the arguments from every angle and
the bottom line is the "apologetics" arguments don't hold
water. Charles Larson's book "By His Own Hand Upon Papyrus" and
David Wright's analysis of the timelines of the various "sacred"
works are the best arguments I've seen. Having said that,
did anyone out there ever have a missionary or any other member
of the Church tell you about these controversies when they were
trying to convert you? They sure as hell didn't tell me!
Where's their so-called "honest with your fellow man?"
