: : Seconding rpcman's response, the God Makers contains some accurate material, but it is overwrought and its conclusions are ludicrous. I knew Chuck and Dolly Sackett, who obtained what I believe were the first tape recorded endowment sessions, and who appeared in the God Makers films. They were neighbors of mine when I was a teenager; we were in the same ward, and I used to feed their dogs when they went on vacation. IMHO, they are not the sharpest knives in the drawer and have problems that go way beyond Mormonism.
: : In sum, if you're looking for legitimate criticism of Mormonism, the God Makers is not the place to find it.

:: Hi, Bill here, the best thing that I have found is a paperback book about 100 pages long titled "30 Questions to Ask Your Mormon Friend". I found it in a Christian bookstore in Kerrville, Texas. These are quite legitimate questions which are exposed in the book. GodSpeed in all that you do. Bill
