: I'm wondering...if the human jaw is getting smaller (wisdom teeth, need I say more?) then what is the future look for man? Anyone know? Any theories about what we may evolve into? Can't be a beak. Can't be a tube. And teeth, what's with them? I was looking at some ancient cro-mag and other skulls and teeth used to always be straight (animals have straight teeth, ever notice?) and thick, like chicklets. In comparison, human teeth now tend to be all snaggly and are thinner and seem to curve inward a bit. Anyone ideas what we'll become in a few hundred years? I'm just wondering.
Hi there...
Hey, you know, I spent a lot of years at the university studying earth science education and geology, was gonna be a high school "evolution", etc. teacher. But, alas, there's a little something found in all science books (those that are worth their weight, anyway), something that most scientists prefer to ignore when considering things like evolution, a little something called "THE SECOND LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS." Interesting thing about that law; what it basically says is that in the long term, nothing evolves... it devolves. See, what that really means is that you started out a man (woman?); but, someday you're going to be a monkey. Sorry, just kidding :). But, do check it out. Quite interesting.
Lord Bless
