: I, too, encourage you to read blue's posts. I didn't write what I did to censure. If you do read blue's posts you will find that the same thing is said over and over again and blue still raises the issue anew from time to time as if hearing it for the first time. Science has been explained to blue over and over again and claims are still made from blue's camp that "science is ..." when science isn't ... as someone else clearly explained to blue before. There are other examples like blue's definition of atheism or blue's bible contradictions or blue's misunderstanding of evolution, or ... Sticking to one's guns is fine. It is the ignoring of and forgetting of the response guns that make blue's posts worthy of being called brick walls.
(Robert)Hellen, I have taken John's advice and have searched the archives for posts from blue. I will admit one thing concerning this individual; he/she has a great deal of persistance and is consistant. Unfortunately, those two traits do not establish fact. One must always be open to new information, even if that information contradicts a persons current notions. At the same time, one should always be skeptical of claims from any source and seek out corroberating evidence in support of the claims. Based on the content of blue's posts, this individual appears to not be in search of knowledge, but rather, in search of support for his/her religious faith. It has been my experience that when the faith is weak, one must attempt to find or distort reality and evidence to try to support the belief system. At the same time, the weakened faith must seek to discredit any and all knowledge to the contrary, no matter how significant the amount of evidence in support. Thanks for the heads-up. Would it also behoove me to peruse some of John's posts also? Are they of the same mind set, i.e., closed?
