First, get rid of all the food sources. Even a sponge in your sink with a bit of sauce on it can be enough to breed more.

The problem is you can trap thousands of them, and you won't get them all. Just two of each sex surviving will overwhelm your trap.

Then, use a household flying insect spray. If you removed the food sources, one application should be enough.
