I have observed that you are very intelligent.
However, since we seem to disagree on almost everything,
I need to better understand what you mean when you
say that my concept of God poses problems...
If it is because he allows me to experience pain,
I can assure you that my mortal father loves me
very much, yet made me mow the lawn when I was 12.
I hated mowing it, and being out in the hot sun
mowing a huge lawn in very uncomfortable. But I
learned from it. I grew and developed abilities
I wouldn't have otherwise.
So, if you have kids, I would be interested in
your parenting philosophies.
In any event, I believe that, yes, God could just
make us all perfect and we could avoid the learning
experience. But once God decided to let us choose
what we do ourselves, it became necessary for us
to experience things for ourselves, as well.
If you were refering to some altogether different
mental gymnastics, I would be interested in hearing
your elaboration
Thank you very much.
And, by the way, I appreciate your interest.
