Saturday, Mormon women made headlines as they sought entrance into the all-male Priesthood meeting at the LDS Church's General Conference. One-by-one, 130 women organized by the group Ordain Women were turned away. Gender roles were the topic of some talks from the pulpit, but there were also messages of inclusion for those who have left the Church and of compassion for people suffering from depression. Tuesday, we're gathering a panel of observers to talk about the conference – and what it tells us about today's LDS Church.

sometimes I'm tempted to classify the output of the SLTrib, Radio West, & other media; I wouldn't say they're Fearless, and I'm not sure they're even 'Edgy'...

Other than Tanner, are there 'Genuine' anti-mo outlets that reach the public in the IMW? (not that tanner is actually Anti; I think she's 'pro-truth').

God. Joanna Brooks and John Dehlin. This should be nice and apologetic.

Not only are apologists the panelists, but LDS Inc sent a statement declining to participate (they were invited, and apparently nearly begged to send a representative to be on the program) in which they stated it wouldn't be useful to participate with panelists who have an anti-Mormon agenda.

Good grief. If Joanna Brooks is considered anti-Mormon, they are seriously paranoid.

Ugh this is terrible. John is a bit of a voice of neutrality, but the two ladies may as well be paid employees for the church's PR.

Listened for 10 minutes and turned it off.

All the guests sound like their skating on vanilla pudding trying so hard to be liked and neutral to LDS INC. Dehlin especially sounds like he doesn't want to step on LDS toes because his financial career depends on it.

The gals just ramble on and on without saying much at all.
