At long last, the man lauded as the father of computing and Enigma code cracker, who Winston Churchill referred to as a man who played an enormous part in the Allies' victory over Hitler, was yesterday granted a Royal Pardon from his conviction for homosexuality in the 50s.

On the day of freedom for LGBT folks in Utah and the birthday of a little con-man called Joseph Smith - this is a long overdue but timely event in my view.

Maybe this will set a precedent for all the other poor folks who though not famous were subjected to the same cruel convictions.

Light and joy are coming into the world this Christmas.

Pedophiles are not the same thing as homosexuals. That is a prejudiced statement that perpetuates bigotry.

What those priests, or any pedophile for that matter, do to children has little to do with their sexual orientation and more to do with a sick and twisted mind. It is more to do with power and control than anything else.

In other words, don't equate pedophilia with homosexuality, the two have nothing to do with each other.
