To hear it described it, it was jigganormous.

Was it a ring of power?

By whose authority did he obtain it, since one does not find such a 'precious' inside a Cracker Jack box?

Were all true and duly annointed supplicants obliged to kiss it?

And btw, why was the ring edited out of his official prophet's portraiture?

Sorry, had to ask.

ETB's ring was a big turquoise one, with silver trim, but not Masonic.

ETB's ring was observable in the official photograph for the Church's Ensign magazine announcing ETB's ascent to the Church Presidency.

ETB's ring was removed from a portrait painted of him, which was based on the Ensign photograph mentioned above.

ETB told me, when I asked him why his ring was gone from the painted portrait, that it had been removed from the painting because ETB didn't want Mormons to think he was the Mormon pope and therefore had to kiss his ring.

Ring?? Was it a Masonic ring or a Navajo turquoise ring with Lamanite auras emanating from it?

That was thoughtful of him to think of it that way. Seriously.

Whoops wrong place - that reply was for Steve re. his Gpa not wanting to look like the Pope.
