Neil Birch writes;
Book of Mormon, 2Nephi 30: 3 And now, I (Nephi, son of Lehi and an ancestor of Mormon) would prophesy somewhat more concerning the Jews and the Gentiles (Most of us are gentiles.) For after the book (The Book of Mormon) of which I have spoken shall come forth, and be written unto the Gentiles, and sealed up again unto the Lord, there shall be many which shall believe the words which are written; and they shall carry them forth unto the remnant of our seed (The Lamanites/American Indians of our day).
4 And then shall the remnant of our seed know concerning us, how that we (Lehi and his family and all of their descendants) came out from Jerusalem, and that they (The Lamanites/American Indians) are descendants of the Jews.
5 And the gospel of Jesus Christ shall be declared among them; (The Lamanites/American Indians of our day), wherefore, they shall be restored unto the knowledge of their fathers, and also to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, which was had among their fathers (The Nephites and Lamanites of the Central American area from about 600 B.C. to 300 A.D.)

Why not learn about us Mormons from one of us. I'm not an official of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, just one of the regular members, yet I'm one who supports Mormon beliefs because I have a testimony and have had much experience that has shown me the truth. I welcome your questions and even criticisms that you have heard, about which you would like the truth. If that is the case, you've come to the right guy.”
Wow, I guess Brother Birch did not get the DNA memo that has been going around for a few days now about the Americans Indians having no trace of Jewish DNA in them. And the church is seriously wondering why investigators aren’t swarming missionaries to learn about the church of Joseph Smith. There is so much about this guy we see clutching his Book of Mormon over his heart next to a diminutive copy of a King James Bible. He was instrumental in the Indian youth student placement program of the church and also an adoption BUSINESS (his words to describe his efforts rather than, say, adoption service, which would have conveyed an entirely different message. At least he was honest in that his efforts to place infants with new families was a business, as in money motivated, enterprise.)
Of all things Mormon, the Indian youth relocation and re-culturing project and the baby selling business are two of my all time most loathed topics. And here we have the embodiment of both behind one pious, self-satisfied smile. Blarg!
