Joe lying

I dont know who said it but basically one of the apostales or prophets proclaimed that if Joseph Smith is or was not a prophet then basically its all a bunch of crap! Sorry to be blunt but i'm not thinking very eloquently today. So my question is do you all find the idea that he stood and proclaimed to only have "1" wife while married to many a huge lie or just trying to protect himself and the church? My opinion is he was a liar what true prophet of God could actually be a liar and the Lord be okay with that! This is what ended the 44year belief for me when I saw the blantant lie I knew he was NOT a prophet! Just a horndog!!

JS lied about EVERYTHING; number of wives, number of young girls he raped, how many people he murdered or ordered murdered, how many people he deceived with his "money digging," his alcohol drinking, you name it.

He was one of those habitual liars who eventually think they are telling the truth, basically like all 16 CULT profits so far.

But, YES one of the morons did say that if JS's BS was exposed, the entire CULT would come tumbling down. I am so excited hoping it will happen soon. Of course, it could be just another fake revelation (like 100% of their revelations!)

Not so much a liar, as an expert in doublespeak. Joe missed
his calling -- he should have been a Mafia lawyer.

Joe and a friend approach a toll booth, requiring 25 cents
payment. Joe says "I'll hand you the money on my way back
through the toll gate." On his return he "hands" a different
toll-collector 50 cents, is given 25 cents in change, and
goes along his merry way, having told no "real" lie.

A questioner asks Joe whether or not he has more than one
wife? And Joe answers that he could "only find one." At that
moment Lucinda Morgan Harris is out of the house and so is
Mrs. Cleveland -- and Fanny Alger is long gone. The only
sexually active woman Joe can "find" in his home is Emma --
and he smiles, having told no "real" lie.

Joe excommunicates an elder operating in Michigan for
preaching polygamy. When his closest followers ask him
why he did that, Joe replies: "I only teach the Patriarchal
Order of Marriage; which is not Webester's 'polygamy!'" --
and Joe chuckles, having told no "real" lie.

He was a master of that sort of hoodwinking -- an accomplished
bait and switch deceiver -- a masterbaiter, you might say.
