Working in Utah Valley certainly has its challenges, especially when 90% of my coworkers are uberLDS. Daily I hear conversations about "wards", "stakes", "temple sessions", "family home evenings", "callings", etc. If I hadn't been raised LDS, I know I would be very confused about the context of these words.
Gay rights/marriage has me on FIRE right now. Hearing BKP's talk at the last general conference stoked some embers that I thought had already gone out.
Today I have already had it out with them about origins of the native american peoples, and just a few minutes ago we had it out about homosexuality and genetics, plus gay marriage and if it's really "immoral" or not.
*sigh*
Is this really worth it? Can you fight crazy?
