'Not All Truth Is Useful'

OUT OF CONTEXT, this stmnt appears to have some value, For Instance....

a) 'The weather today in some remote village of (Africa, Afganistan, etc) is going to be _________________.'

Not Very Useful to us, Correct?

b) <Forgive this one, O.K.?> 'Porn star John Holmes had a 13 inch dick.'... Not very useful, is that?

BUT: in the context of religion/faith matters, Truth takes on a different dimension, ESPECIALLY church (purveyors of religion) history! Religion is claimed to provide guidance - the Answers to life's questions!

a) The LDS church DENIED that members/leaders were engaging in polygamy, When, IN FACT, that was the case. PERIOD, END OF REPORT!

when/if a church lies about it's history, Credibility is GONE!
