10 Million face starvation in East Africa... LDS church ?

For those of you who are still active. Does the LDS church give anything to the cause of this crisis of epic proportions ?

Yes, there is a lovely $70,000 chandelier in the Draper temple those East Africans are welcome to visit, provided they are worthy. Apparently we learned on another thread, they can become worthy easily using something called a Testimony Glove. Then, when they visit Draper, they will see the glory of God in the beauty of his large and spacious building, in the gorgeous chandelier and be filled, not with the bread of man but of the food of the Lord.

Excuse me, I've got to go take another swig of that Corona I mentioned...
