Trek songs

I'm a guitar teacher and one of my students brought me a song she'll be playing/singing on the trek so I could help her with it. I suspect it was assigned to her to learn. The music is beautiful...really..but the lyrics??? They go something like this..." I can't feel my fingers, I can't feel my toes, I'd take off my boots but I'm afraid to look...". Omg! Sounds like an uplifting time will be had by all.
