Mormons still believe Jesus comes to the temple?

Really? Just got an email from a family member who pondered whether the temple had been visited the night before by Jesus. This is the newest temple, BTW(don't want to give too much IRL info.

It's a long way from Kolob.

According to the laws of physics (which the kolobian god can't break) jesus can't even have made it out of the milky way yet, let alone returned to visit some new building...

When I went through the temple in Portland OR many years ago, I truly believed with my whole heart that Jesus would appear to me. I had heard so many faith promoting stories, and thought of the brother of Jared story, where his faith basically forced god to become visible.

I slowly climbed the stairs in the celestial room, full of love for Jesus, and was ready to get a big hug from him.

It was one of the worst experiences of my life when I reached the top of the stairs alone...

I thought something was wrong with me...

I DO know that Jesus has had an on-going pinochle game at the Manti Temple on Wednesday nights for over 80 years. (n/t)
