'The Mormon People'

I was browsing through the new books at my library today and ran across the book stated in the title. A quick browse just had my eyes rolling. The inside cover made it sound all cheery and positive. I didn't read further and shelved it. Ugh.

Has anyone read it? I didn't catch the author's name, just the title.
