Hmm, communist dictatorship vs consecrationist dictatorship. A lot of similarities there. The key difference is that in China you can die to escape communism. Mormonism, you're stuck for time and eternity.

The biggest difference is one of them have more women in leadership position.

My leaving the church coincided with a graduate class on Modern Chinese history....the similarities on so many levels caused cognitive dissonance that cracked my mind wide open!
