Holy, cow. I live in the utah and can I just say, I think there is going to be a rash of heart attacks and strokes from all of the anger over the gay marriage thing? Everyone I know is PISSED about it.

All that hate can't be good for your health.

Yes, my TBM family was literally in tears over the announcement. They really think the world is going to end soon because it has "ripened in iniquity" and God's wrath will soon be poured out upon the earth. And of course, they blame it all on "Obama the Antichrist". I wish they would just relax and enjoy life a little bit.

What will these same people do in a few years when the church acts like it never happened? .... or claims "well, those were the times and they didn't know any better?"

On the flip side, I have a few mormon acquaintances who aren't too happy with the church's position, and have let out a collective sigh of relief. But, they can't say anything out loud in their mormon circles.

Interesting times ahead.
