It used to be all about sin. Now it is all about "same-sex attraction struggles."

If homosexual sexual behavior is sinful is homosexuality not attributed to "the natural man" just like anything outside of "The Law of Chastity"?

In a Ven(sp?) Diagram one could have heterosexual acts overlapped by homosexual acts and heterosexual marriage overlapping only heterosexual sex. So either God is the author of homosexual acts or Satan. Which is it? We all know looking at porn is Satan inspired whatever the orientation. So is pumping the little factory which Boyd and Spence said let Satan take you by the hand and lead you down that fabulously decorated primrose path into dark alleys of gay sex.

Gay people were sent to prove the Mormon cult is not true.

I think the church looks at being gay like having a disease. God will not necessarily help you to walk if you're in a wheelchair, or help you to see if you're blind. He only allowed Jehovah/Jesus to do that for a few piddly years in Palestine.

Being gay to the church is like being sick. It's your life-long struggle. Get used to it.

...But no, we're done calling you a sinner. Assholes.

Well since BKK and Spencer understand being gay better than anyone, and since BKK gave a speech in which he said in his best "don't be ridiculous" tone that Heavenly Father would never do that to anyone, and since we know that neither BKK nor Spencer would ever lie and are indeed close pals of Elohim, it had to be Satan the evil adversary who made people gay. He is very efficient because he has turned about exactly the same percentage in every country around the world. Which means of course, that there are more gay people than there are mormons, so Satan is a much better CEO than Elohim, hmnnnn.

I would actually like to thank Satan, because after the initial shock, being gay has actually been fantastic--well as long as you don't count the equal rights thing, or if you live in Iran or Russia, or if you don't want to be bullied and taunted at school--I personally loved that part). But hey, that's what we get for following Satan.

I was recently flying to Utah and I happened to be sitting next to the UVU Spirit Team. Right in front of me were two male cheerleaders. The one doing all the talking was A) the worst looking cheerleader of the whole Spirit Team (they had T-shirts showing their team spirit) and B) one of the biggest divas I've ever eavesdropped on...

At any rate he was telling his "comp" about how Satan was trying to make him see only external looks for potential wives but he wasn't having it. He said that he obviously had to look at them to want to talk to potential mates but that he was ALL about their personality and psychology. I remember it because A) he was a huge diva and B) because I thought the mixing The Devil with the study of the human mind an interesting mix when applying it to sexual attraction.

Ha Ha. I remember those days. Nothing says closet case like a guy saying he is only concerned with personality and psychology, rather than big beautiful eyes, succulent flesh, and lips that drive him crazy. He needs to be more concerned about who he's going to be thinking about when the lights are off and he has to pro-create.

I am envious. I would have loved to have overheard that conversation.

great artist I knew swore his gayness was caused by '50s Bible movies. Something about gladiators with their shirts off. NO JOKE!Love sharing that with fundamentalist Christians.

For me it must have been the Arnold Friberg paintings in the BofM.

Oh, God. Arms as big as thighs, with muscles bulging that I didn't even know existed.

Yes. They certainly looked like a band of Jews from Jerusalem, didn't they. Arnold must have been inspired. But not by God, more likely by the movie Spartacus.

When I came out a couple years back, the response was a sort of mixture of same-sex-attraction-disorder and devil-infestation. I somehow managed to get everyone to just completely stop talking to me about it pretty damn quick, though.

http://www.ldsflag.com/Information2.htm

Imagine a Pioneer Days of the future with a gay contingent carrying this flag with pride in that parade.

I thought people choose to be gay, kind of like they choose how tall to be
