It was clear. I'm not a native English speaker so the legalistic subtleties that distinguish slander from libel are lost on me. On Law and Order, they only ever talk about murder and manslaughter ;-)

Still, it gave the OP on that thread an easy way out. It's easier to nitpick over a word than to man up to the fact that accusing a named individual on a public forum of being a perv based primarily on a self-proclaimed rock star ability to sense "perv vibes" is ludicrous.

Disliking a person is no excuse to sink that low.
