Broadway musical "The Book of Mormon"

Haven't posted for a long while so if this is old news I apologize. Has anyone seen the new Broadway musical "The Book of Mormon" by the writers of South Park? I hear it is very irreverent and funny but only if you are not religious. Looking for feedback.

No - but I read a review that said Mormons found it sweet and endearing. Wish I could remember the link.

One of my friends loved it. Not sure how religious he is, but he said it would probably be offensive to lots of people.

I just read that review and I thought it was hilarious how they said at the end of that review that one of the characters was "haunted by two giant cups of coffee" in his dream. hahahaha I need to see this. Trey and Matt are flawlessly and consistently funny.

All I know

Most Mormons seem to relish the idea of getting made fun of. They don't get offended, rather, they love the idea of their religion getting some spotlight.

I'm sure some of them at least got offended.

I wish I had seen the musical so I could give a better review of it.
