A classic movie trilogy, and on this day Doc and Marty go into the future on October 21, 2015.

As a Mormon, I never believed time travel was possible. God wouldn't allow it. Even today, I find it hard to grasp, have a feeling it's possible.

Do you ever think time travel will be possible?

Nah, we're too busy fighting over whether or not the earth is heating up.

Probably not, because if it ever was going to be possible in the future, we'd have had a "Marty" and "Doc" come back and let us know already.

I still want my flying car.

A 60 year old women yesterday told me that my grandchildren will have flying cars. I don't have grandkids yet.

How cool! I feel like a movie marathon now. As for time travel, even if it's possible, I don't want to go back.

"Do you ever think time travel will be possible?"

Well, you traveled to 2015, didn't you?

Yes, time travel is possible, back or forward.

Our lives are on a continuum and because of relativity the past has already happened, or happening, as the future, in another dimension along the same continuum as the one we're on.

Here, a scientist explains how time travel is very possible, but only for the future, not the past (because of the paradox of recreating history.) I've heard others state that even past time travel is theoretically possible.

Here, NASA scientists explain why it's [theoretically] possible either direction:

Was that 'before' or 'after' he went back to the future? ;-)

I've been looking forward to this day (yesterday) for some time now! I loved the first Back To The Future movie! I was really hoping that they would do a remake of that movie with it set in 2015 and having Marty going back to 1985. Exactly the same as the original except with the cultural references updated. I really can't believe they didn't do a remake because it would seem like it would make a lot of money.

Time travel into the the future is possible if you can accelerate yourself to nearly the speed of light. (This is a random thought, but I've always wondered why some bible thumpers hate the theory of evolution, but don't seem to have a problem with Einstien's theories of relativity. General and special relativity are much more bizarre than evolution).
