I needed to come out and tell my wife I was gay.

So one evening I just came out with it.
Darling, I said... I am gay!
She was shocked and upset.
I don't know what to say. I have just decided it would be best for us to have a polygamous relationship with that blonde widow down the street.
I jumped up.
Darling a revelation through my stones. I am cured!

This is a true Anti-Mormon urban legend.

That would be interesting. I've heard of the problem with single women, single mothers, and widows being solved with polygamy, but homosexuality?

I have a very conservative, NRA, bible thumping friend that claims his wife has cured a couple of people of homosexuality just by counseling.

When I've pointed several co-workers we both have known for years that are gay and living with partners, some with kids and their family units are doing just fine, my friend believes it's an exception to his beliefs.

Oh well.
