I am not a lady, but I heard recently that "It's all about the base..and not the treble" so I would have been fine to go after the lady's with the base.
I saw lots of ample brides in my time. Exactly how does being heavy prevent one from being married in the temple? (Unless obviously pregnant!) Being fat is not a sin.

It had nothing to do with the temple... not sure what correlation avoiding temple marriage has to do with weight gain?? I was always getting hit on by men, Mormon and no-Mo alike, even in the first few months of pregnancy! I found that when I had few extra pounds after a pregnancy, men would not hit on me. Sure enough, as soon as I lost those few pounds the unwelcomed advances would start up again. It didn't seem to matter that I had a wedding ring on, or a kid or two in tow. It was seriously out of control. Finally, I kept the few extra pounds on, and that did the trick. Now my weight is down again, and yeah.... the unwelcomed advances from men are back again. What's with these men?!!
