Unknowingly the Eagles pegged Mormonism for me way back in 1976 - '77.

"Hotel California" came out just months before my mission call.

Wish i'da been paying more attention to the Eagles than to Mormonism at that time.

Woulda saved me a whole 2 years of my one-and-only-life from marketing Joseph's & Spence's "Life Insurance" scam.

Two whole formative years that were stolen by Spence "W" and his trite little couplet of, "every worthy young man should fill a mission."

Those two personal years of mine that were supposed to belong to ME are obviously now lost forever to the eons of time.

I remember when SWK did a Sunday fireside where he told us BYU kids not to postpone marriage for an education. My roommate and I drove up by the Provo Temple to watch all the cars try to park so folks could get engaged. We both laughed a lot. SUCKARS!!
