I owned a business in the Dallas area for many years and it was located in the predominantly black area or town. We had a Juneteenth sale every year!

Would that perchance have been in Deep Ellum, the soul district that grew up around Elm Street?

And yes, that would be the very same Elm Street that JFK shouldn't have turned onto. :(
