Nevermo here: I have ALWAYS assumed that this word is pronounced "bish-o-prick."

For some reason, I was thinking that the emphasis was on the "op", as in "bish-OP-ric", only because it was hard to imagine all the prude LDSers actually saying pric(k), even as part of a word, lol.

As an investigator, I never even heard anyone say the word bishopric, much less talk about it.

In my experience, it's always been "BISH-a-prick."

in certain (many) instances the correct pronunciation is: the bishoPRICK ....and his counselors.

I had a few decent ones, but most of them earned the title of pricks.

I always heard it as BISHop-rick. Your's is funny, though.

I spent the first 12 years of my life literally think the phrase was "bishop brick"

I'm still trying to figure how to pronounce Hurricane. I believe it's Hurr-cun.

If I'm feeling cocky I might try the word "paradisiacal". I think it rhymes with part of a bicycle.
