There is some mega family drama going on right now. One of my sisters decided to confront the other about a bunch of things (that aren't even true) and after she ripped on her, she then says this :
"but please know that you are still my sister and I love you and we are sealed together in the temple. That means you are stuck with me for eternity."
It was much longer than that, but this part left me in awe.

That's gross. But it's fantasy world, of course. It's hard to not be enraged by these comments (for me) but I try to just say, 'How nice for you!' with a virtual, patronizing head pat.

I love saying: "you don't know that"! You can believe it by faith, but you know nothing about any after life! Or any eternity either.

Silly Mormon beliefs.

The correct response is to point out that according to Mormon (semiofficial)teachings, nobody will be forced to live with someone against their will.

But yes that is super obnoxious.

Tell her that you won't have to tolerate her because you've left the church. So after death you won't be family anymore. Then tell her if she is really nice, you might tolerate her visiting you once and a while in the telestial kingdom.

This was an exchange between my two TBM sisters. I've never been through the temple of doom.

Ironically, temple of doom is how I felt.

I am estranged from much of my biological Mormon family. If the Earth can't hold us together, I don't hold much hope for the heavens.

"Eternity" is a big place.
I'm sure they can find planets in different galaxies to manage with their celestial priesthood holders and hundreds of sister wives.

Being 'stuck' together for an eternity is such a bizarre concept to me.
And what about the rest of her siblings? Doesn't care about the 3 'inactives' and 1 official exmo? I feel as though she used religion as a weapon.

I'd find it hard not to laugh in her face. Loudly.

That's not even correct doctrine as taught by the church. They used to teach that the slightest unrighteousness would break your temple covenants.
