If so, sorry for bringing it up again.

If not...

It's a western set in the 1880s in Colorado and New Mexico. A murderous outlaw named Frank Griffin, played by Jeff Daniels, has a twisted sense of morality and tells how he was a child in the Francher party during the Mountain Meadows Massacre. He gives a fairly accurate account, including a mention of what we know as blood atonement (the writers must have done their research) and says he was adopted by one of the polygamist killers, beaten and abused and raised in their religion. Later, a US Marshall on Griffin's tail mentions to some townspeople that Griffin is a Mormon and believes the Garden of Eden was in Independence, Missouri.

Small world.

Good show. I finished watching it a couple months ago.

If you enjoy the same sort of historic piece with a Mormon tie-in, "Hell on Wheels" is pretty good. too.

The mormons are also mentioned several time and are involved in killings as well. All of this in the series "Vegas" on Amazon) which is set in 1960.

It will be interesting to see how accurate this is... I often find when non-LDS or non-Xians make a series which contains such characters they often get them slightly wrong if they have no background in those religions.

Something is off with the timeline. Supposedly set in the 1880s with Daniels playing a character at least in his sixties. MMM was in 1857 only 23 years before 1880. Even allowing for the series to be set in late 1880s Daniels character would be too old to have been a young, saved child from MMM.

Great show and eerie rendition of MMM by the Jeff Daniels character. I appreciated the delicious irony (intended or not) of a whole town of women (a perfect demographic for polygyny) with just a few men who were either too old, too young or going blind, and the women did just fine keeping things together—even in the 19th century.

Does it have boobs?

'Westworld' has boobs. Plenty of 'em. And the occasional schlong.

Sorry, must be off my med's today.....
