I saw that the Mormon. Org website has a free book of Mormon so I put my info to get one and the so called missionaries are supposed to call you! But never did. I want to check everything that is racist "and other stuff in this book and write do not read this! It is rasisr

And boring! I think this free book of Mormon is a scam to get your info and just not deliver it! And they kept saying oh the missionaries will call, yeah right and I canceled it!

It gets you on their Suckers list.

Eventually two missionaries will show up at your door step and hand deliver a cheap pocket size BoM.

And then try to recruit you for the cult.

I saw this thread and so I went to the website and clicked on the free BoM button. I gave my first name, an alternate email addy, and my phone number.
Within half an hour, the phone rang. A nice female voice asked for me and wanted to confirm my request. The conversation went like this:

Sister: That's great that you want a copy of the BoM. What got you interested?
Me: Oh, I already have an old paperback copy, but it's just falling apart. I need a new one.
S: Awesome, so are you a member of the church?
Me: No.
S: Are you religious, then?
Me: I suppose you could say that I am just very much interested in religion.
S: Awesome!
Me: In just an academic sense. I am interested in studying all sacred writings.

S then explained that two local "volunteers" would phone me for a good time to bring me the book, and that they would have a short message for me.

Me: I'll listen to their message. Will they listen to a message I might have for them?
S: Oh, of course!

You can get a thousand books of Morons EVERY YEAR. You just need to travel a little (more?). Missionaries are everywhere [whether they want to be or not].
