It isn't surprising given the fact that they think waiting rooms are the height of their Mormon experiences.

Both are lies. No one looks at a waiting room, albeit very ornate, and thinks, "WOW! It is like the best decorated, most desirable place to hang out, AND the most spiritual place on the planet."

Likewise, even Mormons trying to make memes of themselves just make themselves look more foolish than they already appear even without their temple clothing.

It is sad but I'm glad it is true that the "most true" religion on the face of the planet is worse than kitsch -- it captures the face of God as a boring old authoritarian "strictitarian" deity with a waiting room, handlers, gobs of cash and not much inclinations to either charity for the world or cultivating humor in his own chosen people.

In short a god who can't laugh at himself and treats his children like actual children and never adult human beings.

Sorry to say, but we could probably make up a bunch of fake articles from 'LDS L' and they'd turn out to be real!

I have very low tolerance for memes of any origin and have "unfollowed" at least half of my relatives (who I can't unfriend) because of the morg memes or worse yet, the 45 memes.

I've been in several temple "celestial rooms" and they all looked exactly like the photos--empty--no one sitting on any of the furniture.

What an unwelcome place. I didn't like the fake windows that looked out to nothing, and looked in to nothing--like some of the windows on the Winchester Mystery House.

Fake peaceful contemplation (Hurry along, now)
Fake reuniting with family members, in private. (Another group is coming through). Where? I have never seen another group coming through.
Fake daylight
Fake flowers
Fake furniture (not for sitting)

OMG!! I loved that Christopher Walken!!

It's not just the celestial room that they shoo people out of. We had a family fight in the temple the day a family member got married. All participants were in the sealing room ready to go. Bishop had to come out into the hall to mediate the situation. Finally, the temple sealer came out and told us to either get in there and get on with it or have the whole wedding party leave because we were getting everything behind schedule!
