Boy, I'll tell 'ya, I've been right quite often in the past.

I (along with most on this and other boards) predicted that at some point they would simply stop publishing their stats. We just witnessed in real time the first step in that process. Publishing, but not publicly announcing the stats. We have always been at war with East Asia.

We also predicted correctly that the McTemples would end up being a millstone 'round their neck regarding costs, but as it turns out, it's not really a COST for them, it's just a way to turn tithing funds into profit via construction companies and the ensuing legal bills (just my guess). So here they are, tearing them apart and rebuilding them with the exact same building materials, perhaps with improved technique, perhaps not, who knows/cares? A very interesting place and time to be in, in regards to the mormon church. I like being outside in and checking in once in a while MUCH better than being inside that beast looking out at the colorful, interesting, scary, thrilling world.

Interestingly tho, the global population increase rate was about 1.12% in 2017, while TSCC claimed a growth of 1.48%. Still tiny, but still "growth".

Did you happen to read the last comment by "Reed" on the lds church blog linked below? "Reed" claims he contacted two different folks at Church HQ and was told the Church won't be publicly releasing membership data by country (and presumably by state) anymore.
