Does TSCC make a profit from selling temple garments?

TBMs online tend to reassure me that there is no profit, or a very little which goes back to the expense of running the temples. Since the temple-worthy are bound to keep buying these silly things for the rest of their mortal lives, I feel suspicious about TSCC smelling an advantage.

I don't know how much they cost now, but when I was buying them years ago they seemed fairly inexpensive.

Was the church paying the people selling them in cash or blessings?

Well, I buy my boxer-briefs by the six pack on Amazon for a lot less that one set of my son’s Grammies. And, mine are colored!

That tells me a lot right there. I always smell a rat these days with everything TSCC does. They don't seem to care about their people at all. Why can't tithing cover the cost of garments? Because tithing funds are too "sacred"?

They tell you you’ve got to wear authorized garments for the rest of your life, and only the church sells them. Sounds like a great way to make money to me!

I was so glad when my DH quit wearing his garmies. He was a true believer for ages, and the garmies got to be practically Saran-Wrap thin in places. Now, he looks adorable in tee shirts and boxers!!
