First I set up a sweet-sister profile. I had multiple hits and emails from prospective MOs.

When I added that I had been excommunicated, RMs recoiled in horror. My god. I'm cursed!

If you'd followed up with an explanation that you were ex'd because you like sex 'too much', the recoiling might not have been so evident.

like telling a tbm of a sister , you didn't go to byu, serve a mission, or have a recommend for instant marriage. but yet when a investigator comes around the sisters are all dreamy eyed. … sucks to be straight forward but the exceptions are gone and more relaxed.

I did that once about 20-yes,20!-years ago right when this nevermos fascination with moism was at its height. Within a day two my fake profile had several “widowed” men showing interest. I was quickly spooked and, feeling really guilty, I deleted my profile.

I just felt so sorry for the poor schmucks and felt like i was humiliating them for my own amusement.
