In some parts of Europe there's a myth/folklore name that is a little too close to the mormon word. I suspect this has created a problem or two. Here is the lowdown folks:

Mormo was a spirit in Greek and Roman mythology that was said to bite children. Caretakers used to scare children with stories about Mormo trying to convince them not to misbehave or Mormo would come and bite them.

Mostly Mormo was referred as a female figure resembling a vampire and the concept of Mormo seems to have been personalized by the time while it was a much more general definition in the ancient ages. Mormo was known as the consort of goddess Hecate, the goddess of witchcraft, magic and moon.
Aristophanes and Hippolytus of Rome referred to Mormo in their literary works, however, Mormo’s historical importance and place in the mythology faded away with time compared to the ancient times when she was respected and worshipped by a cult.

I vaguely recall a story where JS was asked what the word MORMON means. He answered that it meant “more good”. ( eye roll )

Good grief! Maybe t'interwebz are getting through to them at last. I first heard about Mormo from my sister's Greek tutor - quite a revelation so I googled it. Now we learn of a homosexual connection as well. Not good connotations for the inspired book of mormo/morma whatever.

People don't want to belong to or be associated with such an outrageous, judging, backwards, hypocritical, demanding, demoralising, demeaning, denying and dystopian disorganization.

There's the truth and there's Mormonism.

There's heaven and there's he'll.

There's peace, freedom/ free-agency, happiness and there's Mormonnism.

But they do want to belong to it. They are made to want it by careful psychological manipulation. They are conned out of their free will and turned against themselves. It’s quite ghastly.

Guess what: You can’t live a lie. Well you can, but heaven help you.
