I was born a Mormon by birth on my dad's side, and raised as one.

Was born Jewish by birth on my mum's side, and grew up without really knowing much if anything about it.

Now I'm Jewish by choice, and a resigned Mormon. I found a sanctuary among Jews. It was a den of vipers and buzzards among the Mormons I left. I didn't settle. I traded up.

Go figure.

Glad you feel empowered to be an exMo. It is way more empowering than life as a Mormon was. You have a voice! As a Mormon our voices were muted. The creative thought stifled.
