My 4 year old granddaughter stopped by on her way to an short trip. She was unhappy everyone had their own suitcase but her. My son said there was no room for a suitcase and she didn't have a lot to pack anyway.

Then I remembered I had my mother's suitcase she used to take to the temple. I dug it out of the closet and she looked so proud (and cute) carrying her suitcase to the car.

I'm glad at least one good thing happen from all those years my mother went to the temple instead of being with her family.

You're welcome.

For those that may not know. Mormons used to have small (18 inches by 24 inches or so) suitcases or valise that held basically one change of clothes and the temple bundle (slippers, apron, toga like robe, and a hat or veil)

Not sure if they still use them.

I got into my grandparents one time. I had already learned about the temple crap and the stupid costume just cemented it. Hard to have respect for adults that act like that ya know?

Perfect size for a kid and a good use for it :)
