I don't think he was LDS.

One of my favorites of his.

That statue looks like Moroni.

The song is angelic. Beautiful.

The guy putting the video together picked photos of angelic beings. Guess Moroni fit the bill for a photo op.

at least the close-up of the turkey feathers (wings) is appropriate to the time of year.

Wings on angels have never really been part of traditional Christian theology. They were/are a liberty that the artisans took when creating their art

Really?

Seraphim have been depicted with wings for as long as there have been picture renderings. Seraphim preceded Christianity.

Therefore, some angels have wings.

Ever heard of Clarence?

'Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his/her wings.'

;-) (Mormons got nuthin' on angels!)

Ok, well then it would be more accurate for me to say, that in Catholic and Orthodox theology, angels are not said to have wings, despite artistic renderings.

I can't speak to Jewish theology :)

I personally believe there are angels with wings. And some angels without.

Heaven's a big enough place where one size doesn't fit all. Add: their technology is vastly superior to ours. They don't need spaceships to get around. They teleport themselves where they need to go.

Our technology likely seems primitive to theirs. But oh well. They've been around a lot longer than we have.

When Soviet cosmonauts saw a group of six or seven very tall angels circling their space shuttle (around 1984,) they were described as being app 80 feet tall in length, with radiant countenances, and with wingspans the width of a 747. The control base on earth sent up reinforcements thinking perhaps they were hallucinating. With the reinforcements, the angels reappeared again. So the newbies saw them too in addition to those who'd seen them before. Not a hallucination.

They went up atheists. When they returned they had to rethink their entire position on life and the cosmos.
