I married a faithful mormon and became curious about all the contradictions and disgraces in mormon history. I studied it seriously after I found out how much tithiing she gives.

What I get from her after bringing up bogus LDS church history is:
She doesnt understand polygamy, most mormons do not understand polygamy, and most mormon women would not want to live under polygamy. She does not want to live under polygamy, even in Mormon heaven. Polygamy is wrong, as is/was Joseph Smith marrying women already married to other men and wedding teenage girls (though she wont say JS was wrong by his name).
Whenever a Prophet has spoken in error in the past, he "was speaking as a man, and not a Prophet". With this she can reconcile that Brigham Young said that Blacks would only get to heaven as slaves, and that non-whites were second class church members until 1977.
That the mormons have continuing revealation that cancels out things/LDS Prophet actions of the past we/mormons dont understand.
That the reason there is no archeological, and genetic evidence for the Book of Mormon is that the "earth has changed and shifted in hunderds of years".

All I can say is I pity you. She doesn't like things and yet she stays. She is in denial. Do you have kids? I hope not.

I've heard many attempts but they've all been debunked. Brigham Young said monogamy is the cause of adultery and prostitution. Those aren't statements you'd ever hear repeated in Church though.

Yet the "shifting earth" constantly gives up troves of archeological treasures that scientists can date and pinpoint in historical time lines. Odd, eh?

And it was why Joseph Smith failed at his first business, Joe Smith Jnr., seeker after buried treasures.

Mind you, he wasn't such a hot shot at his second business, either...
