If it was Zelph who wrote and hid the plates, we may safely conclude that he was a 19th century American farmer with rudimentary metallurgical skills and a finely honed sense of humor.

Of Zelph did the Kinderhook Plates, he may also be the guy who magically made all trace of middle eastern DNA disappear from Native Americans.

They don't believe because they don't know the facts.
They don't know the facts because they don't believe.

Sorry my friend.

The three Nephites are immortal.

Since Joseph said a pile of bones was Zelph, Zelph was therefore mortal and not one of the three Nephites.

Well, of course, it was the Prophet Zelph himself who wrote & buried the leather plates which we have as a second witness to the Book of Mormon.

His testament answers such thorny questions as: Did Native Americans use deer and tapirs to pull chariots? See Chapter 1 of The Son of Abitch Code, starting on page 125.

And also: Why do we have no archaeological evidence of Nephite civilization in America? See Melph 3:28-29, page 211. "...even shall future generations know not of the Nephites."

Read this expansive further witness, if only for the chuckles.

Sure! If we assume that, it makes everything true!
Everyone gets to make up their church history anyway.

I sure hope someone did the temple ordinance on and behalf of Zelph, who is dead.

Read about it in the Book of Zelph, Another Testament of the Book Formerly Known as Mormon.

Someone actually created a Book of Zelph, look it up in Amazon.
