If you look on the Mormon Newsroom official site you will see only posed photos of them wearing black suits not the white suits photo referenced here. There is only one photo where they are wearing white and it is just Russ shown walking in a crowd, not posed. Bednar is there posed in black suit I believe.

My supposition is that the PR people realized the white suits did indeed scream cult and made them all change clothes?

Also I find it amusing that the official PR site is still titled and domain name of Mormon.

Either they know something we don’t about Russ longevity and just how long till someone new will take over and put the name back, or changing everything will just take forever.

I think the photo of them wearing all white is photoshop. Compare the original photo in black suits to the photo wearing white suits and they are identical except for the white suits. Hands are in the same position.

I think someone thought it would be inspiring if they were wearing white.

It's not even a good picture (when viewed on fb). It looks horribly pix elated or stretched beyond its original parameters.
