I love this, by Don

"If they could remove the snow from their sidewalks the way they remove Lorenzo Snow from their history, there wouldn't be a flake left outside the chapels. All the flakes would be inside."

so, so true

I ALWAYS read Don's stories when they're hot off the press!
Thanks, Don. Regarding the bike story, and you on your bed, tucking your hands in tight 'cause they 'can't do anything right':

I'm hoping for a story evincing your awakening
power and self-esteem. ...whenever YOU are ready
To write it for us.

Am quite aware your prose highlights powerfully the damages
You experienced in childhood. Somewhere along the line you
Gained some strength, perfected your humor, decided your own
Path, developed your literary talent, and became one Very
Important Entity to people on this board. I would love to know
'How' you got there. LoveYa, kid! Nancy

I am in the process of becoming myself. It took a lifetime to get where I am, and I still suffer from crippling anxiety and agoraphobia.. I hope to tell more of my story here and there.

So what happened with the plaque? You ended where they drove off without mentioning what happened.

Look under the blanket, and you'll find your answer.

What a dirty rotten thing to do to run off with the plaque, and pretend they didn't know what happened to it.

Dirty scoundrels anyway.

Estate lawyers have a favorite saying "You don't really know a family until you settle an estate." Ain't that the truth?!

I haven't read the whole thing yet and already I'm pissed off! A sibling stealing something from the estate before the parent's body is even cold and the asshole bully father never bothering to instruct his son on how to maintain a bike and then getting angry and then degrading the child is sooooo MORMON! They should be stricken with boils and persistence. Such evil!!!
