I'm on work assignment today and went with a buddy to get a bbq lunch plate. As we turned into the parking lot, a group of 4 of them were getting into the 4 door Nissan truck. They were getting lunch plates from an outdoor bbq meat market.

My friend said, "There's the mormon missionaries. They are elders."

My friend has forgotten that I was once a member so I said "They look pretty young."

My friend corrected me. "No, it's a title within their church."

About 10 years ago, this same buddy was furious with the missionaries. He was telling me that they were only coming around to his house when his attractive wife was alone in his house. He had already told them to stop coming around, but this set of elders were hard headed.

Oh, today I had my window down so I was a bit disappointed that they didn't say hello or offer to teach me about christ. I guess their quarter leg lunch plate was more important.

Now I want a quarter leg lunch plate. I hope it comes with paella.
